Boxing is dead. Still gets pushed/funded by the main stream for bread & circus. Blunt trauma to the dome is on the menu

Boxing is definitely dead, waiting on the next fighter that is as special as Ali and Tyson were to bring it back.

How can it be dead when we still have guys who make millions? Yes, it is just a handful of them but there are plenty others who make a good living boxing.
Gabe Rosado used to work the night shift at some warehouse and now he owns a nice house, a nice car. And that dude is basically a gatekeeper.
Boxing aint dead, it's just a niche sport.

This guy's right. Ring sucks now. I've been a subscriber for about 20 years and a regular reader for 35, and it has gone DRAMATICALLY down hill since De La Hoya took over and fired experienced boxing editors and journalists like Nigel Collins, William Detloff and others and replaced them with hacks like Michael Rosenthal and Doug Fisher.

Is Boxing dead? Or is Boxing dead in America? It seems to be thriving in the UK.

EDIT, i just noticed who owns it. Boxing may be fine in America after all, i wouldnt gauge what that spoon loving idiots magazine does or says, its lost all its heritage. Articles in it will all have a driven agenda.

It's not mainstream in the UK by any means.

I couldn't really understand what that dude was talking about and didn't have time to listen to the whole thing, but I subscribe to Ring and I haven't had any WWE articles in any of my magazines. And I still enjoy the magazine and look forward to it showing up every month (well, 9 a year anyway)

Yes. You might be shocked to know that not everybody was born in the internet age, unlike yourself. Books and magazines are still appealing to some of us.

Now go back and get all your news off Facebook.
