    - these rankings speak from themselves, enough said. :yep

all these fighters: margo, cotto, mosley and pac were very known and marketable fighters back then with the exception of Paul Williams , who was indeed less known but he was a very very good fighter. :good

No Floyd chose to fight the ever so popular and dangerous Carlos Baldimor instead of Maragrito at the time !

Basically is Judah, Baldomir, Hatton and JMM vs Margarito, Cotto, PW and Pacquiao.

So the question is: How Floyd's resume would've looked if he would've fought these fighters ( Margarito (2006/2008 ), Cotto (2007), PW (2007) and Pacquiao (2009/2010) back then ?

I think these fights are much tougher fights than Judah, Baldomir, Hatton and JMM.

Looks to me that he made just about the best fights possible since he moved up to 147.

We don't live in a fantasy world. Everybody can't fight a top 10 opponent every single weekend all year. Some people think that way, though.

Mayweather has fought a gauntlet of great opposition ever since 2006 and if you don't feel that is true than I'm curious as to the gaping holes you might find in the resumes of legendary fighters of decades past.

So tricky tat he missed out on the fight entirely. His excuse was he was going to be working for a small percentage. Fight sold 2.4 mil, yea very small percentage.

More or less. Not sure how anyone can believe Floyd took the toughest fights available at welterweight? He clearly managed his welterweight career very carefully.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

When was the last time FLoyd fought a Top Rank fighter?

He doesn't "duck" fighters, rather he just has no interest in fighting anyone from the Top Rank stable. The only exception is Manny P, and that was solely based on the magnitude of that fight and how that would've given him the biggest payday of his life.

It's not a "cherrypicking" thing, he just doesn't do business with Top Rank. If Cotto wasn't a free agent, that fight wouldn't have gotten made.

okay guys end of trolling ! :yep

We don't know for sure who's fault for those fights not happened then, uncle Arum , Floyd or both . :think

I'm sure that all of us would've liked to see ( Margarito (2006/2008 ), Cotto (2007), PW (2007) and Pacquiao (2009/2010) vs Floyd then. :yep
