I'm not a Fury fan....you can't ignore the historical nature of the win.

Personally I agree with you...Wlad KO's Fury and Fury goes into the dustbin of boxing history; but for now....it was a big win.

Nothing wrong with that pick at all.... He just ended a decade long reign.

Any publication is only as good as those writing it.

Wlad was rated p4p #1 by Boxrec, #2 by Ring Magazine.

    I agree.

However, I believe that Fury's award was well deserved considering that he defeated a decade-long reigning heavyweight champion.

eh...not that bad a choice. Boring, awful fight but it has significant impact on the sport.

I see your point, but I think Fury achieved as much as anyone in that one fight alone. Beat a top P4P guy who hadn't lost in 11 years despite very few people giving him a realistic chance and picked up most of the world titles. It was huge

Oscar's trashy magazine. The P4P ratings are a joke.

    Well deserved.

The furious one will prove the doubters wrong.

Fury is actually one of the more deserving winners of the Ring magazine award.

Right guy. He beat a man who hasn't lost in 11+years and is the true heavyweight champion. Plus he was a huge underdog.

Think you're right, they jumped the gun massively with this pick. This will look ridiculous in retrospect.

Tyson Fury had the biggest win of any boxer in 2015 in what has often been termed the marquee division of the sport.

This makes the choice perfectly reasonable.
