I'm not a Fury fan....you can't ignore the historical nature of the win. Personally I agree with you...Wlad KO's Fury and Fury goes into the dustbin of boxing history; but for now....it was a big win.
I agree. However, I believe that Fury's award was well deserved considering that he defeated a decade-long reigning heavyweight champion.
I see your point, but I think Fury achieved as much as anyone in that one fight alone. Beat a top P4P guy who hadn't lost in 11 years despite very few people giving him a realistic chance and picked up most of the world titles. It was huge
Right guy. He beat a man who hasn't lost in 11+years and is the true heavyweight champion. Plus he was a huge underdog.

Tyson Fury had the biggest win of any boxer in 2015 in what has often been termed the marquee division of the sport. This makes the choice perfectly reasonable.
