5. When have you ever seen anyone control distance and timing better than Jones in all of his prime fights? You havent he always dominates ring generalship

6. Its good we know agree Jones is 10times better on everything other than perhaps chin :yep

7. Short punches mean little if your feet are moving at 1mph

8. You make a goodpoint, the beatings Conn took shows his defense wasnt particularly good :yep

9. Conn didnt fight better fighters and has more bums on his record. Bottom line Conn only fought 1 black fighter and got KTFO by him :yep

10. Hopkins and Toney both prime :yep both light years ahead of Conns opposition :yep

11. Yea I made it up despite it being on boxrec. Go on boxrec and look it up LAZY

12. Jones many opponents of 190-200lb who drained to make LHW were probably the same size

13. Maybe 1 or 2 of Jones opponents had jobs to maintain themselves, Conn fought way more part timers than Jones. Bottom line though 30 of Jones opponents were top 10 ranked

14. No they didnt, Jones and his contemparies competed in a better era, the best MW era of all time

15. Well yourwrong both Hops and Toney keep their zeros if they face Conns opposition

 

Billy Conn at his peak was one of the very top lightheavies that ever lived...As a middle weight Conn licked some great fighters, such as Fred Apostoli, Solly Krieger, Young Corbett, Tough Oscar Rankins, prime Fritzie Zivic,etc.Some of these guys had well over 100 bouts... As a lightheavy,Billy Conn beat tremendous fighters of that tough time, as Melio Bettina, Gus Lesnevich,Bob Pastor, Lee Savold, Gunnar Barlund,etc.Some of them weremuch heavier fhan Conn. And then of course, his best fight against arguably the greatest heavyweight that ever lived,a prime Joe Louis,in 1941.... Billy at about 169 lbs , as we all know almost dethroned the Brown Bomber, even outweighed by 30 lbs....Louis ,aside from one ko suffered by Conn when he was 17 years old, was the only one to ever ko billy conn....No shame there....Roy Jones as a lightheavyweight, would not have beaten some of Conn's victims, such as the tough punching Lesnevich, Southpaw Melio Bettina, yes,Bob Pastor, and let alone lasted 13 rounds with the great power punching Brown Bomber.....Not with his being ko,d by several decent ,but not great lightheavies....Yes Conn, with his speed and durability,in many, many 15 round bouts whips Roy Jones...Conn too seasoned.....

Lets look at what that actualy means.

By his 20th birthday Conn had been in the ring with six world champions:

Zivic, Risko, Dundee, Yaroz, Young Corbett III, Yaroz again

By his 21st birthday Conn ahd been in the ring with eleven world champions having fought in the past year:

Young Corbett II, Yaroz, Cobett again, Kreiger, Yaroz again

By his 22nd birthgday Conn was the lineal light heavyweight champion and had fought seventeen world champions with only three losses. In the last year he had fought:

Kreiger, Apostoli, Apostoli again, Kreiger again, Betina, Betina again

His heavyweight run included fights against eight oponents who had been ranked in the top 10 by ring magazine at one time or another with his only two losses coming to Joe Louios.

When you say that both Hopkins and Toney would have kept their zeros if they face Conns opposition, I don't think you have even bothered toi think it through.
