I have massive respect for Doug Fisher.

However I'm not sure I agree with this. This sounds like an awesome war.

What are your thoughts? Do you see the fight unfolding like this.

I think this fight will look more like Oscar vs Manny. With Mosley backing off and becoming gunshy once he's tasted Manny's power. FInally getting stopped in middle rounds.

    Here's what Doug Predicts:

    OUTCOME
Fans get what they paid to see in the early rounds, when Pacquiao starts surprisingly fast. The odds favorite comes forward behind lighting-quick three- and four-punch combinations that knock Mosley’s head around as the 39-year-old fighter is backed up. Just when it appears that Pacquiao is about to overwhelm Mosley inside of three rounds, the “old man” reminds the superstar that he’s still dangerous by landing a chopping right hand that clearly rocks the Filipino icon. Pacquiao uses his fast footwork to dodge Mosley’s follow-up attack but the wobbly moment serves as a wake-up call to the fighter and to Roach, who tells his pupil to box more in the middle rounds. Pacquiao will obey the master trainer and work a crisp jab and step to either side of his experienced adversary while looking for spots to fire off one or two power shots to Mosley’s head or body. This strategy will enable Pacquiao to take control of the bout but it will be disappointing to the crowd. Mosley will not be able to deal with the smaller, faster man’s lateral movement and the fight will lose its intensity as he sleep walks around the ring in pursuit of Pacquiao. Before fans begin to boo the lack of action in the fight, both Pacquiao and Mosley will make decisions that create excitement in the late rounds. Noticing that he hurt Mosley with some of the body shots he landed in the middle rounds, Pacquiao will try to aim more punches to that area as he stands his ground a little more. Mosley will give up trying to time and counter punch Pacquiao and step his pressure up full tilt. The fighters’ warrior mentalities will result in numerous exchanges down the stretch of the fight. Pacquiao will rock Mosley will combinations punctuated with head-snapping uppercuts, but the American legend will land his share of single power shots, including neck-twisting left hooks that briefly wobble the defending welterweight beltholder. The two will let it all hang out in the final round, bringing the crowd to its feet.
    Prediction: Pacquiao by unanimous decision.

I'd say Pacquiao UD is the sensible call when you take into account that a) he's the superior fighter and b) Mosley hasn't been stopped.

However, I'm going to bet on a Pacquiao TKO 10 - specifically, a corner stoppage. Nazim will throw in the towel if Mosley starts taking a beating late in the fight.

I'd love to see an upset but I can't see it coming from a 40 year old Shane Mosley.

Speed kills. It may look similar to Pac-Cotto.

when mayweather was landing, mosley was wobbled and there for the taking.

I see Manny stopping Mosley in brutal fasion.

I see Mosley eventually backing up on this one.

I can't se the dancing display that doug fisher predicts with the crowd booing. Thats just not going to happen

I hate it when people try to make punch specific predictions like that. It's pure fantasy more than a prediction.

You can break a fight down and make predictions according to each fighters physical strengths/weaknesses, skills and probable game plan - that's fine. You can even summise something along the lines of 'Pac's quick right hook will be Hatton's undoing in this fight'. But to start guessing at certain exchanges of punches, the round in which they occur and the physical reaction they produce from each fighter is just pathetic to me.

I hope his prediction is true and we get a good fight...but in all honesty Doug is a huge Shane fan, so his opinion is a bit biased.

I'm not going to go that far into detail because I'm not a psychic, but I will tell you that Shane is going to try to fight this on the outside.

Shane is going to try and run Pac into straight right hands and take on the role as a counterpuncher; however, Pac likely anticipates this and will give his angles, movement, and speed will likely be too much for Shane.

Shane will look good for 2-4 rounds tops (4 is being generous) before Manny hits him with something big and we see same old Shane, getting aggressive and Manny counterpunching the **** outta him.

I expect Shane to get knocked down or at least absorb the type of beating a fighter isn't supposed to and for his corner to throw in the towel maybe around round 8 or so.

Where Mayweather decided not to finish Mosley, Pac will...

Naz is going to tell Shane to fight Pac like Bernard would...problem is...Shane isn't Bernard.

Doug was one of the few predicting Msley would be too much for Floyd.

    Even predicting a UD.

    So you are correct there.

Bull****. At precisely 1:49 into the second round, Pacquiao will throw a 1-1-2-3-6 combination that rocks Mosley back on his heels. Al Bernstein will exclaim, verbatim, "What a combination!" The camera angle will shift to behind Shane Mosley on the ropes, with a clear view of Pacquiao's face. Pacquiao will come in quickly, blinking once, and unleash a combination of hooks to Mosley's midsection. Naazim will be heard faintly in the background urging Shane off the ropes. Those watching in HD will catch a glimpse of Bob Arum scratching his nose on the left edges of their screens as the camera angle changes again.

I see Nazim stopping this fight. Mosley will be competitive for about 6 rounds then Pacquiao will turn up the heat, and Mosley will be forced to back up in the end. I can't see Mosley pulling through in this, accumulation punching will stop this fight.

Unlike Floyd, Mosley will have more opportunities to land some big shots against Pacman.

Pac UD is the most logical outcome. Why is everyone pretending otherwise?
