I`ve seen your link before, but it`s not a secure site. I posted a list from the ring magazine from 1996 of the greatest fighters in the last 50 years, Robinson came 1st and Ali was 2nd, a number of users of this site were less than happy at me posted every fighter on the list one at a time each day! ;):p

Good stuff! Just skimmed it (I think I have seen this before?) but some weird placements....I can’t agree with any list that has Vicente Saldivar at 13 lol

But seeing Bob Cat Montgomery at 9 made it bearable lol.

Gotta give it a closer look later when I have more time.

The 1975 rankings are just bizarre in lots of places.

Funny how much the rankings changed between '94 and '98, must've just been different people.

Also Interesting that philidelphia Jack O'brien fell out of the top 10 light heavyweights entirely.

Heavies are getting bigger and bigger also, don`t forget they changed the cruiserweight limit, some fans are even comparing Jack to cruisers now, I think changing the day of the weigh-in has effected his standing in that way too, because a lot of cruisers are just trimmed down heavies that put weight back on, the day of the fight.

If ratings are done based on resume and quality of opposition relative to your era, defenses etc. weight and height should have **** all to do with influencing or shaping those rankings. If one guy beats 7 top 5 challengers and another only 3? I don’t need to say “well what size were they”. That should not impact ratings unless they are H2H and H2H is so subjective and biased that I barely give it the time of day

Harry Greb went up in estimation to No 1 (as I feel he should be).

Also LOL at Carbajal over Chang and Yuh at Jr Flyweight.

Going from 1 overall to outside of the top 20 completely is an amazingly hard fall from grace.

Well, this was May 1994 so before Carbajal had lost the rematch with Gonzalez and had already beaten him in the biggest light flyweight fight of all time. Putting him at the top at the time seemed fair.
