I have Mijares above Pavlik and Margo, but otherwise my list is the same.

I wouldn't argue with that list just now, but I think if JM Marquez beats The Ring lightweight champion Joel Casamayor while Joe Calzaghe is involved in this money-making farce with Roy Jones, then Marquez should rightfully and justly go above him to #2.

It's like if Pacquiao signed for a 4th fight with Morales now and Calzaghe signed to fight Pavlik, I'd say Calzaghe should jump Pac to no.1 if he won.

Standard of opposition and willingness to take dangerous risks to improve the resume are very important in p4p terms IMO.

:huh:huh:huh Not to the post but why he is #4. He should be at the bottom or just outside the top 10. But with a win, Pavlik stands to gain moving up a few places in the mythical P4P list.

Shouldn't you have to win a fight in a year to be in the top five. Ridiculous Hopkins is still that high on this list. Thankfully, Pavlik will put an end to that.

It's a good list. Why is Cotto above Hatton though? Hatton lost at a higher level and has the best win of the two.

 thats not how it works.

Hatton didn't look so good against Lazcano, and despite losing to Margarito Cotto looked like a damn good fighter especially in those first 6 rounds. Hatton was outclassed by pBF and almost lost to Collazo albeit at a higher weight..

    Looked?

How do you think Hopkins looked against Calzaghe? Magical? Fourth best in the world? If overall achievment isn't a factor for this list, why is Hopkins so high?
