Um... lost his LMW title in a close fight vs. P4P champ Mayweather...

Spinks is in the top 5 as he lost a close fight vs... a veteran, 38 year-old guy with 10 losses!

Hatton is #1 at LWW even if Floyd knocked him out.

Please forgive me godly one, my ignorance towards the almighty and just boxing ranking systems is a direct result of my drug usage.

I agree, not a good ranking. Alcine is too low. How can he be behind Bunema? I guess I can see why they put Phillips ahead of him, since he beat Spinks, but come on, Alcine would beat him very easily. Oscar will fight Forbes and Floyd, and that will probably be it for his career. In the last 4 and a half years, Oscar has 1 win at 154 (Mayorga). For this reason, he should be lowered in the rankings not out of them completely, but down a few spots.

Their 126 lb. rankings are just as bad. They moved Guererro to #1 over Chris John, because he beat Litzau, who I dont think was even in their top 10 prior to the fight. I still cant figure that one out, though I guess thats a story for another thread.

yeah but at middle he was a bit flabby. vince pettway went down to welter after his reign at light middle.and he wasnt a small man.

winky is not a built muscler guy he is 5'10 wieghs at around 165 pounds out of fights and we all know that a boxers lively hood is based on losing up to 20 pounds in wieght in 2 months.

i think he can do it. it's just if he can be ****ed to train as he used to. against pavlik pavlik is too big just physically too imposing.

im surprised that no welterwieght contenders are moving up to get out of the heat.

zab judah was fleeting into it at one point and looked pretty good at it.

clottey as well went up to 154, he comes in very heavy for a welterwieght at around 160 pounds it's said he came in at 170 against corrales but due to clothing...but how much clothes was he wearing?

Yup....best boxing talent I have seen in a long....long....long time. I put him up with Riddick Bowe and Zab Judah in terms of having it all and letting it slip away.
