Anyone else think it was tiny, not seen much said about it elsewhere? I don’t think Isaac was ready for a match of that intensity in fairness, and I think he’s still small at the weight (I remember Okolie looked 2 weight divisions above him). But when he fought at distance he had the beating of Billiam-Smith. Yet it was way too easy for CBS to get hold of him and push him to the ropes. Some of this was down to Isaac but I also think the the ring played a huge part in it. There was pretty much no room for Isaac to take a step back and move out as he was already on the ropes. Frustrating as I actually want to see how the two styles matched up and only one type of fight was happening. It was a good dust up but I thought it was scrappy and phone box stuff - again down to the ring at least in part.
It did look on the small side but I don’t think it made a big difference. CBS was bigger and stronger and wanted it more. It was a great fight, Chamberlain is just too small for the top end of the division.
Chamberlain will always be a nearly man, be it in a phone box or on a football pitch, he just hasn't got it.
Wa impressed with the heart he showed, even when towards the end he was pretty much getting beaten up and the fight was only going one way. Still fought back.
He showed great toughness and caught CBS with some decent shots. CBS was just much busier and bullied Chamberlain. His pressure fighting was very effective.
