Ring vs octagon.

    We will see grappling more and more in the future, I guess. GSP has shown how effective it can be and many young fighters probably emulates his style in coming years. I certainly would. But that's not very 'user friendly' style for people who has just began to watch MMA. Value of high kicks is obvious for everyone but it takes time to understand the art of ground game.

    I prefer ring but hate the restarts. I hate the wall and stall and lnp bs. I can't when a fighter does not even care to finish and only survive. Whatever makes MMA better is fine by me

    Not get tangled up in the ropes? Have you seen that event? It defines "getting tangled up in the ropes" including a guy triangling somebody using the ropes.

    Wall walks, LnP etc are actually techniques/skills. Falling out of the ring, resetting etc just mess up the sport.

    I'd vote for a parking lot, in a park, and possibly outside a pub. Why limit the arena to environments not realistic in a street fight :tong
