Mike Tyson's entrance vs. Michael Spinks, accompanied by the creepy music (by Tom Alonso, not by Coil as a lot of people think). So intimidating.
That's a good one. I'll never forget that entrance music (if that's what you want to call it) when Tyson entered. It was more like just sounds. And the way camera people were just falling down (tripping over chords) as Tyson walked very quickly to the ring, like he just wanted to get it over with. So great.
Another one that always stuck with was during the Lamon Brewster-Luan Krasniqi fight, of all things. Krasniqi, a German citizen, was attempting to become the first German heavyweight champion since Max Schmeling. The fight was held in Germany on Max Schmeling's 100th birthday (he'd only recently died). Krasniqi kind of resembled Schmeling. There was a big buildup to the fight in Germany. The table seemed to be set for this big coronation. Krasniqi entered the ring. Everyone cheered. Then the cameras panned down a hall to Brewster exiting his dressing room, and the song Bad Company by Bad Company started playing. Here's the song. This content is protected And it was just brilliant. His whole slow ring walk to the song was just like saying ... not so fast. And the fight ended up being really great. And Brewster came on late to score a KO. I have that German broadcast on DVD, and I've looked for it on Youtube, but all I could find were versions that cut out the ringwalk or a Russian (I believe) broadcast that includes the ringwalk but the announcer on that telecast just babbles on and on over the music and you can't really hear it (and since I don't speak Russian, it's just more annoying). But if you ever see that original broadcast with the music playing clearly, and Brewster walking to ring, it's pretty cool. The music and camerawork worked together so well. Brewster was BAD COMPANY for the Germans that night.
