Yeah, we should have more with a similar theme. It's an easy way to get a lot of great matchups going.

    :good

I agree. To win, Pryor basically has to take Perkins out and I don't see it happening for reasons you've put your finger on. The timing is the most important point...can't get careless/tired in this one!

I think so too. Maybe to close to call.

I have done a couple with a similar theme in the distant past. Maybe i'll start doing them once more.

I think Willie Pastrano, at his very best...what he was capable of..would have been the LAST GUY ON EARTH to come anywhere near exposing himself to Saad's arsenal, and would have strictly syayed with his jab an d move game plan, never setting himself, never presenting a stationary target, and would have stolen a narrow points verdict, or even, quite possibly LOST a narrow points verdict to Saad. Either way, he would have lasted the distance because it was against his very nature to get into any kind of foolish punch swapping contest, especially with a guy like Saad.

I cannot decide on the outcome of a Leonard-Griffith contest at middleweight...Leonard would probably have won at welter, though not by much, but Griffith was actually a stronger, more filled out, confident and comfortable middleweight technician than Leonard, and in his less than spectacular way, may have been able to counteract any flashiness that Leonard would muster at 160. A decision for Griff of course, would be my guess.

Hmmm....are we taking these fighters at their best or H2H as they were at this stage? McGrain, you seem happy with either

I'm slightly going with '81, I see Hagler, Leonard, Pryor, Sanchez, Saad, and Kenty winning their matchups, but Holmes, Chandler, Oguma, and Uehara coming up short in theirs.
