Floyd Mayweather is a great Olympic boxer who cherry picked his opponents and his whole lifespan in the ring is about not getting hit throwing as few punches as possible and creating a false image of him being some unbeatable ATG better than SRR, PAC + Ali.
Just getting rocked by Mosley after a tune up with JMM paying him to make certain he could outbox him en-capsulizes his career and lack of a true warriors heart.
Manny captured the world so easily because the man put on the pedestal was a fraud and even those who propped him up (HBO) no the truth. If you are a Floyd fan enjoy the idea of PBF but do not expect anything other than a duck and quack. Truth.

Floyd is still #1 P4P of all women and security guards.

Floyd is one of the best at earning 12 rd decisions against 35+ year old fighters after stumbling early and using his fading legs to outbox the worn out fighter who's legs are more worn out from other boxers doings.

Pretty stupid. I thought the fight was FOR AN 8TH WORLD TITLE IN 8TH WEIGHT CLASS, yet The Ring counts it as a welterweight fight? That reeks of garbage, foul smelling garbage. The Ring wonders why it's not in bookstores or anywhere anymore.

Are you describing the versions of Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales that Pacquiao beat over and over, the lost, then beat over and over? Or are you describing the war-torn fighters Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito? No, you must be describing the fighters that Floyd Mayweather Jr. had wiped out and punished a full 18 months before Pacquiao did, Oscar de la Hoya and Ricky Hatton? Come on dude. You're post is ridiculous.

That makes perfect sense, as long as he weighs in as a welter but fights at jr middle he is the number #1 welter? Aren't we meant to have p4p rankings for that?

Anyway I thought Floyd defeated the number #1 welter at the time back in May - doesn't he have at least 12 months before losing rank? Margs also lost his welter ranking for inactivity due to suspension, and was never ranked top 10 as a jr middle?

Anyway, Pac still beat Cotto and Clottey whom were still top #5 worth welters so I have no real issue with him being the number #1 welter.

    Just some food for thought.

beating marquez (unranked) and mosley (#1) is not enough for floyd to stay #1 at welter. pac has been more active at welter with his victory over hoya (unranked), cotto (#2), clottey (#5) and margarito (unranked but fought as a light middle) while floyd is just fighting once a year. pac deserves to ranked #1 at the weight.

But to be the best you have to beat the best....

Anyway, It's only been six months since he beat Mosley.
