You leave out a bit of imporant info

He only faced all 3 when they'd all basically been retired

This is how stupid boxing is

    Mosely destroys Margarito

    Mayweather faces Mosely

    Manny faces Margarito

    Mayweather cherry picks

Man, let's just ignore the fact that De la Hoya and Hatton were older when Manny faced them

Manny could have had the fight twice, if he could fight at 147 without the juice

This is what happens when a guy is unbeaten. And probably unbeatable.

Paclanders spend all day looking at rankings, and quotes, and articles, hoping to find something that will get them through the day!

Aren't they basically saying that Pacquiao won a paper title at 154? And he really fought at 147

Man, you should include the entire article

"Margarito, unranked by THE RING going into Saturday‘s fight in any division, can not be consider world-class junior middleweight. The former welterweight beltholder, who was knocked out by Shane Mosley in his last meaningful fight, so is unaccomplished at 154 pounds.

The editorial board viewed Pacquiao’s ability to dominate Margarito at a 150 pound catch weight is an accomplishment that enhanced his standing in the welterweight division"

Translated - he beat a bum at Welterweight, so he can't be considered for any 154 ranking. So we have to move him up at Welter instead

this does not make sense if he fought in the 154 pound division.
