Everyone seems to hate Johnny Nelson as a presenter but I like him, and Jim Watt is top stuff, knows his boxing and has hilarious catchphrases to boot.
Agree. And both were fighting champions in their day.Despite what may be said about Johnny,he tackled some really tough people, and look at Watts resume as champion,Howard Davis,O Grady, etc.Didnt duck Alexis Arguello either.
I like both Watt and Nelson. Smith is ****in' creepy though. He always says this "sport of ours". Has the **** ever even put on a pair of gloves?
Johnny is alright as a pundit on a fight night but isn't a presenter. Think he knows this though and doesn't mind playing on it. I'm surprised Sky the masters of slickness put up with it though, unless they are trying to turn him into a cult figure by means of his struggles with the autocue! As for Jim Watt, well he is just baffling. He can have a good night calling a fight but then have an absolute shocker. The Rees-Matthews fight was a horrible recent low point. One of the worst commentaries ever.
