And people think he will beat Bute. Its annoying our best fighters get like this. Ringside last night really pissed me off. Underating Bute Slagging Peterson Slagging Haye vs Chisora (giving it publicity dickheads) and Jim Watt :desk
That fight was close to being a robbery. The judges seemed to be penalising Ward for nothing in particular and rewarding Carl for getting punched in the face.
:deal first and foremost i know its der job to hype the fight but imo froch is made tpo order for bute and this might just be his first stoppage defeat .left to the body acting as judge jury and executioner when it comes to the peterson case the haye and chisora thing is pathetic,...what about all the times they gave tysons fights an airing have they all forgot the lewis-tyson brawl all of a sudden hypocrisy at its worst
Love McCrory's sheer hatred for Haye! Not sure why, but he slags him off at every chance. But it is true, if the fight was on Sky they would hype it beyond belief! Love Froch, but his delusion is as stubborn as his chin. Interesting about Bute's body attacks, is Froch solid there?
Johnny Nelson was absolutely cringeworthy during the Murray interview. That talk of coming over and doing some sparring and then to go on and get Andy to stand and put his gaurd was awful awful viewing. atsch I also sank back into couch when when he was asking AM who he thought was the best boxer in the studio (or whatever it was). I was glad when the interview was over, everytime he looked at the camera I could see him thinking of something else to say that would'nt be funny. It must have bugged me, cos I dont usually post on here. Cheers
The production is good, a lot of the segments are good also but what lets it down is the sheer ineptitude of Nelson, the ****ishness of McCrory and the creepiness of Smith. Needs more of Jamie Moore and Richie Woodhall.
Johnny Nelson... "If a Johnny Nelson falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" He is so ****ing wooden, the autocue is his enemy. Adam Smith... if he ever relaxes a broomstick will slide out of his *******. what a strange creepy uptight little man he is. I can't watch Ringside anymore.
Although I don't (I refuse to) pay for Sky, it's always a running joke between my Dad, me and my boxing buddies that whatever Smith, Nelson and Jim Watt predict to happen result-wise in a fight they cover, then just pick the opposite. Sky's boxing coverage is ****ing horrible. made even worse by that **** with the glasses whose name I don't remember - he had a title fight and lost and he looks like a solicitor. If it's any saving grace, I do like Barry McG, he talks sense, and has also been known to fight Mexican plumbers outside in the middle of the Nevada desert.
Nicky Piper is actually a good operator, he had 3 title fights. 2 of those losses were to Benn and Michalczewski.
