Ringside Tonight

Blimey, what an awful post. Are we supposed to become meek, passive little lambs unable to form an opinion because Murdoch is a millionaire then. I don't like your 'Shut up, Murdoch earns more than you and therefore is entitled to make ****py shows and you must watch them without offering feedback' view. Is that really what you think?

Ringside's format is tired and tedious.

It could be so much better. They should try other formats and ideas, eg break and ****yse down fights with someone with half a brain, like Gary Neville does on Sky for footy. Maybe do a in=depth feature on Al Haymon and what he is doing. That would give folk some real insight into the game and help watchers appreciate the skill behind boxing.

I find the interviews are often painfully sychophantic and thin on content or searching questions. Johnny Nelson is a nice bloke, but not the sharpest tool in the box and it shows sometimes. Both him and whatshisface overuse superlatives when describing fights (biggest event, greatest fight, best blah blah) and it ends up being a bit of a yawn. I can barely watch a whole show anymore. I turn it off as it starts to bore me.

Boxing is an exciting sport, but Ringside is a lame show. The only reason fans watch it is that there are not many alternatives.

 

Sky Sports Boxing is all about Ringside and fortnightly shyte cards now.

Ringside has turned very stale with the same old jaded shyte spouted about for example 'the big fight in Leeds' or 'big time boxing is returning to Birmingham.

The we get hit with absolute dross at Hull, Leeds, Newcastle and Birmingham soon'.

Ringside is shyte simply because the upcoming Matchroom non PPV cards fail to excite people except thick Leeds Citizens watching their fighter fight a 30/1 shot while shouting oh Warry Warry etc.

Ringside was great when you had Fury v Haye giving it large and people were interested in the fight.

Who really gives a fook about Anthony Joshua fighting Kevin Johnson?

Ringside reminds me of a pre soccer show called Soccer Am on Sat mornings - well past its sell by date about 5 years ago and still limping on.

As for Pac v Mayweather, the the same can be said about this fight and the 5am start UK time has resulted in many pubs around the country cancelling late licence applications.

Sky need to s**** PPVs and get the multi promoter deals back or boxing will continue to decline down the list of minority sports.

 

I gave up on ringside a long time ago. Embarrassing excuse for a programme.

 

Just watched the recording and deleted the programme after 5 mins.
