I loved Mike yet the one thing about boxing history which he did not learn- the lesson which boxing history shows us.. Don't take thing for granted and always come in shape. Hagler who was not a great historian of boxing knew that lesson well. Always be in shape and expect the unexpected. Mike took things for granted and lost to Douglas because of it.
