He questioned the validity of the big UFC PPV numbers because the UFC don't release official numbers but then said it has been reported that the UFC that went head to head with Mayweather-Marquez did less than a 100,000 buys. I've never heard that it did that badly but he is happy to believe the bad numbers but not the good numbers. Even if that UFC did particularly badly what does one number of a weak UFC 3 years ago have to do with anything? UFC 100 2 months earlier beat Mayweather-Marquez on PPV if you want to pull random numbers out.

When he said that the UFC had stagnated in this country (which it absolutely has) he painted it like the UFC had given up on this market not mentioning that they run less shows here now because they are trying to improve their TV deal and in the meantime markets like Brazil have opened up and been very successful for them.

He said that the UFC came over here and said they were going to run boxing out of the UK. I've never heard anything said like that maybe they did privately but I've definitely heard boxing promoters go after UFC when they first started running shows over hear but the whole segment was to position UFC as the bad guys.

Whatever you think of MMA, to have a 'debate' where Adam Smith supposedly chairing it says 'boxing is just the better sport isn't it?' and he is asking Barry ****ing McGuigan!!!! What do you expect him to say?!

Edit: they also talked about fighter pay which is such crap. They said we don't know what UFC fighters earn. Well we do know what Randy Couture earned because it was released during a lawsuit with the UFC and he was paid very well. Did he get Mayweather/Pacquaio money? Absolutely not but only Mayweather/Pacquaio get that money.

****ing right on that comment, UCMMA (one of the bald ****s who ran Cage Rage) is awful horrible production and comes across as bad Guy Ritchie Movie than a sport. That Said I do like and enjoy watching Cage Warriors who actually look like a legit company the production is good and there is no crappy annoying gimmicks fighters like UCMMA and actually seem to concentrate on quailty fighters over loud mouth gimmicky fighters.
