    Brandon Rios(30-0-1, 21 KO. 26 yo)[Abril, Murray, Antillon]
    Mike Alvarado(33-0, 23 KO, 32 yo)[Herrera, Prescott, Martinez]

Since their records are almost identical, who do you think is better
and stronger between these 2 undefeated fighters on Oct. 13th?

rios knows he took a loss and has something to prove...alvarado is older, and with his wars, he might not be as durable vs someone like rios....then again, this is a whole new world for rios at 140....right now, it's a pick'em fight with the quality of opponents leaning towards rios...dont forget peterson too, he beat the dog **** outta him

Rios for me is the better and stronger fighter.

But Alvarado has a big heart and will be there till the end.

Looking forward to this fight, hopefully everything goes well and theres no injuries or anything that can prevent this potential FOTY from happening.

I believe Alvarado is tougher because he is physically larger. He can take punishment at the higher weight, that Rios was having problems taking at 135.

I don't believe Rios can take the shots from Alvarado.

It's going to be a WAR.
140lbs will be perfect for Rios, But he will outgrow this division aswell.
Alvarado will be the perfect opponent for Brandon matter of fact Rios is the perfect opponent for Alvarado.

    Can't wait for this.

Rios will go to the body at the expense of his head, the problem is will he be able to handle those shots coming to his head to continue to go to the body?

Rios put on one helluva body assult, but against Prescott, Alvarado was able to turn the tide buy doing some great body work.

Rios puts on one helluva body assult, but against Prescott, Alvarado was able to turn the tide buy doing some great body work himself.

Rios is better on the inside, but other than that, Alvarado has more tools. Alvarado has a far better jab and if he can keep Rios at the end of that he'll have great success. Alvarado is bigger and has power to match Rios, if not more. In the upper cut department I want to say Rios has a stronger upper, but he has to be right in position to be effective with it where Alvarado can deliver it from different positions. Ring IQ I have to go with "Mile High", he demonstrated he has the ability to keep calm and make proper adjustments. Rios never adjust, he just turns up the pressure and picks up the pace.

One thing I will say is that Alvarado's face might start tearing up if it turns out to be the war we all expect. But hopefully, we'll have a competant ref that know this is nothing new for Alvarado and is not so quick to wave off the fight over some blood.

This is one of those fights where the winners will be the fans, but as far as who will keep their "0", I'm going with Alvarado.

I favor Rios, but I don't really care who wins, as long as I get to watch it. Gonna be a helluva fight.
