Rios' antics go beyond boxing, good taste

Rios making fun of a lisp is really not that big a deal.

Livingstone Bramble calling Ray Mancini a "murderer", Ricardo Mayorga making comments about Cory Spinks having a dead mom, Muhammad Ali calling Joe Frazier an "Uncle Tom", Roberto Duran spitting toward the wife & sister of Sugar Ray Leonard....that's pretty low when it comes to trash talk/psychological warfare.

A lisp is pretty minor.

Sports journalism has really gone downhill with the internet age.

 

Yep, and seeing some of these pussies in this thread hating on Rios has me believing that boxing fans are starting to go downhill as well.

Boxing's a brutal sport. Doesn't mean you have to be a brute though.

 

I think his antics are great and also the way he fights. I liked his Freddy roach impression. Free country. He can say what he wants. You are also free to go **** yourself.

Roach was not offended by what you said, so why should we be. It is pre-fight hype and trash talking. I never tire of trash talking James Toney or Brandon Rios.
