http://t.co/DLFvYTH3 Level headed interview right after the fight, says he wants to fight the best at 140 so he can be the best at 140. Pretty mature considering most fighters would already be claiming to be the best in the division, after winning the fight and the event last night. Check out the interview, it's less than 2 minutes long, and let me know what you're thoughts are. :good
Champions at 140 are jokes (excluding Danny Garcia). JMM got handed his belt. When is he defending it next? He's too busy getting his official W against Manny. Peterson still has his belt which will probably go to Zab and now Rios is the WBO Latino Belt Holder. Of course he's gonna say all those things after a win. Would like to see Rios against a Lucas. Lucas is the real deal imo. Stoppage was dodgy.
Hopefully Rios will give us a few more barn burners over the next couple years. I don't think he's ready for Pac or Marquez, but he'll put on a helluva show regardless.
Great attitude. I used to hate his guts a couple of years back, but I'm starting to warm to him noq. He's an honest guy, to his credit. May come across as a ***** sometimes, but at least he's a genuine one. And he'll spell trouble for any one of the current 140 crop. Only concern for him, however, is his vulnerability to being outboxed.
