Rios-Gamboa is on!

Rios fought like hell to make weight the last time around. Gamboa should win if it goes mid distance. Rios will probably not make weight. It must be for a great payday for Rios to take it. I mean, he can make a lot of money at 140. I hope he and his team know what they are doing. I don't think Gamboa has ever fought at 135 so Rios better put it on him from the start.

 

That will definitely be the gameplan. Take him out quickly.

Gamboa is just too small for a huge 135 pounder. And also to people saying Rios will have trouble making weight need to realize Rios just hired a nutritionist for the first time in his career. I am sure that will be alot of help.

I do not think Gamboa will even have the success Acosta had early in their fight. He is just going to be too small and overpowered eventually. I would be surprised if this lasted even 8 rounds.

 

I just have to have a LOL every time I see someone picking Rios in this fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rios doesn't make weight again. That would be like Gamboa climbing three weight classes, not even a 160 pounder would fight at 175 so I think Gamboa would pull out before taking that fight or if he does fight he'll get over 50% of Rios' purse should that happen.
