I don't blame Gamboa at all. Arum has screwed up his career with stalling the potential Juanma matchup.. Now he's trying to cash him out by making him fight a junior welterweight for short money. I was looking forward to the fight but I can't fault Gamboa on this one.
Gamboa is a grown man, he can read and sign his own contracts or get a lawyer like everyone else. I hate to place blame on him because of what we all know about Arum, but seriously he hurts boxing & his fans by letting it get this far before making a statement.
1. Arum promotes both fighters. 2. The fight was officially announced before the contracts were signed 3. Gamboa didn't sign no papers It's one thing to not agree to the fight in the first place (I mean, 2 weight classes up?), but to agree to the fight and then start no-showing press conferences and saying **** like "there was never a contract" shows a blatant disrespect for the sport and it's fans. If I see Gamboa on the street I'm gonna try and kick him in the nuts (he's fast, but I'll try).
I don't blame Gamboa at all. Rios is a much bigger guy. Gamboa could have won the fight or he could have gotten ruined by Rios. Rios takes fighters souls away who are in his same weight class imagine what he can do to someone two weight classes below him?
Man some of you people are so gullible why the hell would Gamboa jump three weight classes , for all intents and purposes, to fight a guy who can't even make 135. HBO was trying to create drama, blame them not Gamboa.
WhAT THE **** YO **** you... ***** ass little MIDGET calling out someone who never intented to fight you... then everything gets set up and you RUN like you ran from CUBA you little traitor *****...! FUUUUUUUUUU Okay now that it's out, this is bs man. Mathysse Soto was gonna be the undercard a great night of boxing ruined...
I guess Pacquio chickened out by not fighting Martinez or Donaire is a chicken for not willing to fight Adrien Broner, :rofl:rofl Dumbassatsch
Yeah, I hear that thet're thinking of replacing Gamboa with another Cuban, Abril. You know the guy who just beat Acosta and pushed Rios at the Miami press conferance.
