This is going to be brutal. I hope Brandon has lost all the punch resistance he has left just so the fight can end early.
I honestly can’t tell you who sounds more punch drunk Toney or Rios it’s like they are drunk all the time slurring the **** out of words
Rios is not that far gone and Garcia has always been overated! Especially his power! I see Rios giving him a good fight!
Danny's not a defensive master, and doesn't possess either a relentless offense nor fight ending power. Rios has ALWAYS been a plodder, but he hasn't been in or around the top 10 for this long without reason.... Every now and then, he ups his game and finds a way to beat the front-runner and or look better than previously... Rios could have beaten the Garcia that Peterson DOMINATED and journeyman Herrera beat in the eyes of most
Oh Jesus, stop overreacting, Rios got stopped with a body shot by Tim Bradley, because he didn't train hard enough, and he's always sounded like a mongoloid. He looked fine against Herrera, he needed some rest, and he got it, he's nowhere near as bad off as drug addled Alvarado. This fight might actually be more competitive than most are anticipating, its not like Danny is some monster KO artist, Rios can probably take his power for the full 12, also, who knows how sharp Danny will be, its not like he looked great against Thurman or Guerrero or Malignaggi or Peterson, you never know Rios might pull the upset even.
THIS is the one you think shouldn't be sanctioned? If Rios actually comes in, in shape, with a good training camp, hes probably still a top 15 type WW.
If Rios and Garcia can obtain boxing licences, then it should happen. To me it's a lot more disturbing telling another man that he can't earn a living doing what he does best.
No, he didn't train much for the Bradley fight... And I think he ballooned up to 180 on fight night (but useless water weight).
@miniq Rios has NEVER been eloquent or articulate in his speech, so it's hard to say what boxing has done to him.
