    Scene it...

Practically everyone's saying Abril got robbed, a lot more worse than some people who thought JMM got robbed against pac-man.

A robbery that would be hilarious if it wasnt so tragic.

The other fella was a bit of a spoiler in all honesty, trying to think of a comparison, maybe like a kind of awkward defensive oriented Kendall Holt, sharp but not devastating punches, philly shell defensive and a bobbing movement which left Rios lost. Anyway he won 9 rounds minimum. You could probably count the Rios punches that wernt arm punches landing on the shoulder, on one hand.

So where do we go? Parallel records?! On the the night records, contrasted by a scrupulous independent adjudicating consensus? Official career records on the one hand counterbalanced by the pervasive purview of non-affiliated, respected, mofos on the other?

We need a counterbalance to this invested, interest DICTATES outcomes, holocaust!

    Here's a vid of a fan reaction

Don't watch it if you intend to watch the full fight.

Not that it matters of course, we already know the result.

    :yikes:fire What the ****?!!?!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for anyone who hasn't seen the fight, I just watched it and had it 10-2 to abril, and I was being generous to Rios.

That is a typical 'protect our asset' type of scorecard. **** im so angry.

fair enough I can understand scoring for aggression, but Rios was just plodding all night, hit nothing but shoulders and gloves.

Rios got shown up there. I dont give a **** about his 'struggled to make weight' excuse, simple fact is he got schooled and relied on the judges to screw over abril.

I hope they do press ahead with a Rios vs JMM fight, because JMM is gonna make him look exactly like the ordinary brawler that he is.

    **** Rios

well if he struggled with abril im sure deep down he wont wont to fight the worlds best light-welter in Marquez at a weight hes already comfortable at.

Honestly, it's ceased to become a sport because of these robberies. From now on I may as well as refer to it as 'sports entertainment.'

Oh and Abril (Like Kotelnik before him) is completely ****ed. Who's gonna fight him now?

Funnily enough Freddy Wak on the gf is claiming that Rios won and his having a massive hissy fit. I have to admit, I didn't see that coming.:think

Just watched this fight Abril is a spoiler but this is definately a case of protecting an asset by promoters. Surely the question mark has to be raised about judges. Boxing seems to be very corrupt. Ive watched rios a few times now and not been able to understand why people think he would destroy Ricky Burns. After watching this fight I think Ricky wins comfortably a far better fighter that Abril and will box his head off for 12 rounds and not lose a round.

I thought Fedchenko did better against JMM than Rios did against Abril.
