His chance is not good, the reason he got the fight.

Rios has a small chance because pacquiao's defense is not very good, hes just coming off a KO loss so u dont know how hes gonna react, and Rios has power. thats his small chance.

But hes a punching bag and thats why he was chossen

You apparently did not watch his fight with Abril close enough. Not a single judge had Abril winning. 84 holds in a 12 round fight has got to be a record of some sort. Abril came out planning on engaging Rios in a war. Rios lands one hard punch and Abril goes into his shell and then runs and holds.

I give Rios a 5% chance of beating Pacquiao.

I have to disagree about Rios only shining vs. opponents that will stand and trade with him. Most of his opponents, aside from Abril, have been boxer/puncher types, not brawlers like himself. Alvarado, a big 140lber boxer/puncher with good power, has a loss to Rios and barely escaped with a victory in the rematch. Abril is a highly skilled defensive fighter, only fighter to truly beat Rios. If you notice in the 12th round of the rematch with Alvarado, Rios was pumping out a double jab that tho it missed its mark I was shocked how fast he threw it. Timing might of been alittle off, but well Mike was on the defensive as well.

Another thing I noticed is if Margarito, who was a more basic fighter than Brandon, was able to use his jab on Manny and throw Manny off for the first 2-3 rounds, Brandon using his to pressure or move Manny back should at the least give Manny some problems IF Rios can get his jab going. Brandon is not a fighter that will be intimidated by Pacman's speed or power and Manny trying to ko Brandon will only increase Brandon's chances to catch Manny. Manny will have to go back to using angles and attacking Rios soft body cuz I doubt he will crack Brandons chin.

i agree. i'm expecting this rios to be coming in around 163-165 (pac will only be about 150) just as relentless but quicker than margarito. pac has to fight him like the way he did dlh, if not he could get ko'd.

The question is not about Rios its about Pacquaio.

This fight comes down to one simple thing: Has Pacquaio still got it? If he has then he will win easily, if not then who knows.

I can see an upset here as i think Pacqauio has the skills but has lost the fire

Rios is tailor made for Pac, he gets hit too easily and with Pac's power and combinations, he will bust up Rios's face. Depending on how Pac takes the ko loss to marquez.

Look at the "Location" part of his profile. Needless to say, he's a Rios fan.

I'm a fan of Rios but Pac will be too quick, Pac's speed will be a key factor.

Rios doesnt win one second of one round.

    This is so onesided.

I just hope Rios fights like Clottey for his own sake.
