That is all.. if he can polish up his defense and add some more skills to his arsenal kid can be unstoppable even to those 140 pounders...

i'll acknowledge he's a B+ fighter so far.... i'd like to see him fight A caliber fighters.

The thread title needs to be less teeny-boppyish, plz tone it down lol

He can't take bodyshots though. I think Marquez and Gurrero beat him.

    Any solid boxer beats him.

Hes good but he loses to JMM and gets beaten by the top guys at 140

IMO he gets blasted by top notch opponents..

Acosta was firing and landing at will before I don't know if it was stamina or fear that froze him..

Marquez demolishes him in less than 6 rounds..

    easy pay for marquez

yea he is good but not that much of a monster the guy is beatable. There will be fighters with the power to put a dent in his chin and the target is there to be hit.

it was Rios' punches and pressure that wilted Acosta.

was banking on how marquez demolished diaz, and IMO Diaz has better boxing than rios have.... I may be sold at 11round but only because rios have to admit has a great chin

rios is a beast but there's a few things he needs to work on and im sure robert garcia will be looking into them...

head movement being the most obvious one, he can defend against straight punches well but when they were looping in he was in trouble.

also he doesn't go to the body nearly enough as he should, there were times when he had acosta against the ropes and he (rios) was leaning to his left with perfect opening for left hooks to the body but he didn't go for it, instead he went to the head and missed quiet a few.
