Rios is a more polished, harder hitting version of Maidana.

Lol I think its funny how these pactrolls say Rios is the harder hitting of the 2 as if they been hit by both them self's. Maidana is a slugger, but has a better jab and foot work over Rios. Rios excelles in the pocket, but move around a little and he comes at you looking like a punching bag. No upper movement, no latteral movements etc.

Sorry pactrolls, but I would have to favor chino over Rios. Broner alone is better then any one Rios has beat. Resume comparison also favors maidana.

Theres a video where Robert says chino was his hardest puncher at the moment.

You saw what Pacman did to Rios. Mayweather is just as fast, if not faster than Pacquiao. Rios would get hit all night. The first Mayweather/Maidana fight was Floyd "fighting for the fans". He wouldn't do it again against another brawler.

My thoughts on this:

Maidana is the SLIGHTLY better overall fighter, I think he is a little more versatile and would have a better resume than Rios if they fought a bunch of the same guys...

However, head to head I would favour Rios. Style wise Maidana is the sort of battle that he looks for, and his chin and power would grind out a victory.

Would love to see it though...nothing is guaranteed with these two unpredictable pressure fighters.
