Rios is a more polished, harder hitting version of Maidana.

I'd say Maidana is slightly more polished however there isn't much in them- not as much as Mayweather fanboys and Pacquiao haters try to make out. Head to head, I slightly favour Rios because I think he has the advantages in the mandibular strength department.

maidana has a shaky chin and for the first time he will be hitting a guy with a iron chin rios will laugh and just walk him down maidana is no pac who has SPEED and power and angles:hi:

Pacman sparred with Ortiz and Ortiz more than held his own. Manny would be screaming for his life if he got in with the Argentine version of Pei Mei.

Manny hasn't faced many jabbers or fighters with big right hands, the ones he did, Jmm and Morales, gave him trouble. If Chino could connect on Floyd, the best defensive fighter on the planet, he can on Pacman. It's a good thing Pacman is with Arum and Chino with Haymon I don't want to see Manny ko'd again even tho it was priceless to see pac****s crying and dialing 911. Chino did call him out.

Mayweather doesn't have near the lateral mobility of Pacquaio. Mayweather does not like a guy that can take his shots and come forward with little regard for the affect of Mayweather's punches.

Pacquaio was landing full power combinations on Rios consistently and Rios was completely undeterred. There is a reason why Mayweather avoided Margarito.

    This is it.

Margarito would have lunged forward with his uppercut combinations and he would have put a beating on Floyd, whether Floyd managed to win or not, it would have been his hardest fight.

I mean, Mayweather had trouble with Maidana. Maidana has terrible punching technique. I mean, it is really really bad.

Rios would wear down that hideous sunk eyed potatohead. Oscar Pistorius has better footwork than him and that's because he has no legs.

Maidana is a tougher matchup for Floyd than Rios because of Maidana's wildness, lunges and weird arcs to his punches.

That said, Rios vs Maidana is 50/50 and their sparring is apparently so. In the ring Rios can expose Maidana's weakness that Floyd couldnt. Maidana could just walk through Floyd but he wont be able to do that with Rios, we know Khan, Morales, Ortiz already hurt him bad, both to body and head, pretty sure Rios could hurt him bad too. Maidana probably hits harder but Rios has rock for a chin.

In a war of attrition, I'd pick Rios.

ROBERT GARCIA SAYS MARCOS MAIDANA HITS HARDER
    THAN MIGUEL COTTO: http://youtu.be/fSYUR9wyl_U

Robert Garcia "Marcos is one of the hardest if not the hardest puncher I have worked with" FACT! FROM THEIR TRAINER!!

End thread. Seriously I don't see how you, who have never been hit by either or can claim to know who hits harder. Also, Rios is known for his relentless and constant pressure, not so much for his power. Maidana is known for his power and awkward brawler style.

"Rios is more man then maidana" lol, are you a women to measure each one manly hood lol. Told you, its easy to make fun of a pactroll like you.

Again, the only reason you praise Rios is because he fought pacquoiao, only reason.

Everybody who has ever sparred with Pac "holds their own", just watch all the sparring interviews. lol. Maybe its because Pac is in sparring to learn, and they are wearing 16oz gloves and headgear so they dont feel the snap to the punches so much, as Shane did. I'm sure if Algeiri sparred Pac everyone will be saying how he outboxed him during sparring.

Styles makes fights though. It's like Hearns-Hagler. Hearns/Maidana hits harder but has a shaky chin, Hagler/Rios also hits pretty hard but has an iron chin.

In a war you can see the result, one guy can take the others punch whereas the other cant. If a shot to pieces 3 weight divisions above Morales can hurt Maidana, Khan drop him and Ortiz drop him what, 6 times? Then Rios sure as hell could stop him.
