Rios is not the only blood and guts warrior today. Actually both him and Alvarado are low level brawlers. Abner Mares is an example of a skilled brawler.

Leading with your head and butting the **** out of your opponent while your shots continuously stray low all night is by no means being a skilled brawler

I don't really care cause you can't claim he is undefeated anymore, he really is a basic brawler who picks his opponents like Mayweather, how about he fight Bradley or Marquez see how that goes.

Ha you're a Mares hater cause he's Golden Boy, let me guess Santa Cruz and Lopez suck to?

You can't win a fight with only headbutts and low blows, especially against a skilled fighter like Moreno so obviously Mares has skills. You probably lost money betting on Moreno so I understand.

I don't mean to defend this other idiot, but Bradleys whole JWW career was based on headbutts. Evander Holyfield made a career of headbutting as well. And low blows played a prominent part of the careers of: Dempsey, Duran, and Trinidad.

Why does it have to be a lost money betting or some stupid **** like that? Mares has a history of going low, yet you want to say he is skilled? No sir skilled fighters have control over their shots they place their punches Mares simply gets inside and throws throws throws that isnt skill my friend.:nono

I like to clown on Rios but I'm not mad at how he acted. I get it, he's not the brightest guy and he just lost his first fight officially, he didn't plan on acting that way he was just pumped full of all kinds of emotion and not to mention the adrenaline that comes with a 12 round war. That **** was spontaneous and a little sad but nothing to get mad at the guy over, he wasn't trying to steal Alvarado's spotlight he was just running on an adrenaline and emotional high and isn't articulate enough to be Mr Classy he's a street mofo. We're lucky he didn't try and fight Alvarado again in the post fight.

you gotta be one of the only people int he world aside from the paid off judges who didn't score that fight for Abril. Even the threadstarter who knows Rios personally and who is the biggest Rios fan on this board scored that fight for Abril. I also find it funny that you try to claim if Mayweather and Broner fought Rios style they would get whupped......you mean with no regard for defense? Yeah most people would but if you're talking going to war with someone on the inside then both Mayweather and Broner have done this numerous times and are far better infighters then Rios, especially Mayweather, there isn't a boxer on the planet that can infight at Floyds level, he's got that james Toney **** in there. It's not like Mayweather or Broner fight like Vazquez or Abril.
