Gamboa will put a whoopin on Rios , a really think the bigger the stage for him the better fighter he will become .. plus working with Emmanuel Steward will bring him along leaps and bounds

This is going to be Pacman all over again, with threads been bumped, once Gamboa sparks out Rios.

Providing he carries his power, the style will be all wrong for rios.

He'll walk into big shots a night, till the fight is stopped.

The skil level and speed differance in this fight is huge.

"If" he does, it's only because of the size difference. Won't be related to boxing skill.

Gamboa couldn't carry his power up to 130. Why would he carry it up to 135?

Speed is going to kill in this fight. Gamboa is going to catch Rios easy from the very start.

Wow at some of the delusional people here saying Gamboa will stop Rios...Gamboa didnt exactly look so great beating an even slower and smaller Ponce de Leon yet he's going to blitz Rios? :rofl :patsch

Unless rios is dead at the weight, Rios is gonna **** Gamboa up bad...Too big, too durable, too much pressure.

I think it's crazy, jump to 135 against rios, but Gamboa is confident and wanted this fight so much,he knows he can beat him and I give him credit for his courage. It will be a heck of a fight

If Gamboa is half as good as he has been touted to be, he should be able to beat Rios.

The difference in speed(and skill) is enormous. If Gamboa just boxes, and does not take risks to get a KO(let that just happen), he should win. Steward should help in this regard.

It would be damn silly for Gamboa to try and go toe to toe.

If he "just boxes" he will stil lhave to deal with Rios relentless pressure...Bam Bam is gonna be all over him like a rash, and with his size, durability and relentlesness, i can see Gamboa having a long night...We still have to see if Gamboa carries his speed and power up to 135lbs, and many of you seriously underrate Brandon's skills here....

    Bam Bam TKO 8.

can someone please explain to me how just how it is that gamboa can in any way shape or form hurt rios without the help of a baseball bat?

im rooting for gamboa but rios barely batted an eye when he was getting hit by, at least by my count, harder punches in antillon murray

I feel like this fight is going to be like the Chavez-Taylor I fight, where Gamboa ends up being ruined for the rest of his career.

I like Gamboa, and he is showing massive balls by taking this fight, but i honestly cannot see him win this one, if Rios comes in healthy and in top condition.
