But that's all that he is, a caveman. Rios, nor Alvarado, stand much of a chance versus the likes of Lamont/Lucas/Danny/Khan (yes, Khan)/Broner/Josesito/etc.

Khan destroys either of them because of his mammoth advantage in speed. And he's starting to pack a little pop after all this time with Virg

You know it's funny cause I get it I loved the fight but Maidana or Lopez do what he does better than he does at more appropriate weights and yes Khan beats Rios most likely unless his ass gets dragged into a brawl, Rios will be eating combos all night.

Rios is no caveman, one dimensional maybe.

He has a great inside game, he's just lost on the outside

Caveman? How many other can fight on the inside like him? Believe it or no there's also skill involved in that!

He's too refined to be a genuine caveman, like Huck for example.

Oh c'mon. He was in a very competitive fight. It wasn't like he got knocked out. Khan has no chance. A fight with Rios would look like Khan-Maidana except Rios won't get hurt and once Khan goes on ***** street Rios will have the power/accuracy to finish him.

Stop calling offensive boxers cavemen for ****'s sake. They parry, they block, they maneuver for positioning on the inside, they roll with punches, they set up combinations with proper punching form, they compete for ring space. Even if Rios were to lose to the top crop of 140lbers, it doesn't make him a caveman. He and Alvarado both are championship-level fighters with uncommon skill.

Rios and Alvarado would grind Khan down. Maidana has serious stamina issues and still tapped that. Peterson would make for a great fight but i dont give him that much of an edge. the 140 division is full of close match ups...dont see any one of the top 5 being miles ahead of the other 4. Why is Broner even mentioned, he hasnt done **** at or above 135 yet.

Rios isnt the greatest technician in the world but its not as if he just slugs away all the time, there is some technique and skill in what he does

Granted he could do well if he chose to box a bit more which he is capable of doing but the guy just loves a tear up
