Ariza can do anything, or at least, he thinks he can. He is a legend in his own mind..........

i think rios' being proud of the fact he can take a punch is stupid. dont get any extra points for liking being hit. you cant build muscles to protect your brain.

I think Ruslan is better from outside and midrange, but Rios is better up close where this fight will take place all fight long.

Ruslan is better at tracking a fighter down and throwing on the move and at a moving target, but Rios is going to be right there in front of him.

    old posts of mine

you make some good points but roach knows rios does terrible against movement. peterson was doing ok when he was moving.

early on ruslan will throw a combination , step over , repeat. then he will use his faster hands in exchanges on the inside.

ruslan has more confidence right now and is more comfortable at 140.

I agree, Rios sucks whenever a fighter gives him any movement. Peterson and Miguel Acosta were doing very well against him. Acosta got tired and laid on the ropes too long and Peterson decided to fight in the pocket too much vs him.

Then of course, Pacquiao and Alvarado completely exposed that.

But I think Ruslan will stand in front of him. I could be wrong and he may come in with the right strategy though
