have it on the pvr, watrched it several times- 7-5 broner biatch in his very first step up in opposition vs a bad style match up and a former champ who vastly improved technically since his championship days....not too shabby even if like some of you clowns who cannot score think he lost a close 7-5 decision it's still a good showing for a 21 year old novice kid vs an experienced champion level fighter.

I agree with alot of what you have said. De Leon was much improved technically from his belt reign and it was a good showing from Broner.

A shame Rios is moving on to 140 and is with Top Rank, otherwise I wouldn't mind seeing Rios try and get his hands on Broner and beat the **** out of him.

we will never see broner vs rios, maybe in 5/6 years if broner gets to welter but they will both have losses then.
Im still hoping for rios vs ortiz in a few years.
Regardless of the outcome I hope we get to see gamboa vs broner.

 

I had it 7-5 ponce de leon, and 7-4-1 the second time. Broner got a pac vs jmm 3 type decision that night, he was lucky because gbp sure as hell wasnt letting him get beat that night.
For a 21 year old kid it wasnt that bad but I think most people have him losing that fight.

 

G. Russell has a better chance at taking over when Floyd rides off into the sunset putting a seal on his hall of fame career. A. Broner will not meet the expectations that are set for him. Once he really steps up I think he will fold under pressure.

Both horrible scores. Both close fights (Williams V Martinez I much closer) that could have gone either way. It's not bad scoring when a judge scores a bout in one boxers favor in a close fight, its bad scoring when there is a close fight and a judge renders a shut out scorecard in favor of one fighter.

 

Like mijares vs navarro where one judge scored it 120-108 for navarro when he only won a few rounds.
