Shameful, disgusting, atrocious, horrible, injustice, inhumaned, any more words? :fire

Professional boxing has always been a corrupt sport but what happened Saturday night is simply " shameful " and plain disrespectful not only to Cubans but to all boxing fans in general. The " unknown " Cuban Richard Abril simply took Rios to school in every single round in their 12th round affair. Rios was calling him a " nobody " and that he was going to send him to " the dumpsters ". Well, now we all know who really belongs in that dumpster. :-(

Abril showed us again why Cuban boxing is so superior. Abril, with just 19 pro fights ( 2 controversial losses as well ) looked like a master in there doing whatever he felt against the vastly overrated Rios. He moved like butter, dodged similar to Floyd, hit with great accuracy and made Rios looked totally ordinary plain and simple. Rios is extremely lucky that Gamboa backed away from their fight, cause we all know Gamboa is plain " vicious ".

These crooks have to be suspended just like the three judges in the Lara~Williams fight and an investigation is a must. There's just no way in this freakish world that Rios won that fight as every round looked exactly like a repetition of the other one. Abril fought a super intelligent fight and did exactly what he was supposed to do " box, hit and don't get hit ", so Rios calls him a coward for not wanting to engage him? :nut

Even though Abril was assaulted at gun point Saturday night at least he still holds the WBA interim belt, heck, he should be awarded the real WBA belt that is vacant after seeing such a stellar performance! Rios' hype has come to an end and it just took a decent Cuban to do it, and he wanted Gamboa? :scaredas:

Oh, almost forgot. Rios thinks he won the fight! He has absolutely no dignity whatsoever, he should call Paul Williams and ask him to be " best friends " and join his club!

OK, let's hear it, who do you think won the fight ( Biased fans please stay away ).

    Peace

  2. It was the worst robbery I have ever seen. I struggled to give Rios a round. Arum is a snake.

I believe you must know about the situation in Cuba so let's not get into that and you must also know that Cuba has been banned from pro sports since 1959 contrary to PR who has always been competing in pro sports.

With just a small group of Cuban defectors we have:

Yoan Pablo Hernandez, IBF World Champion and Ring magazine #1 cruiserweight of the world.

    Guillermo Rigondeaux, WBA World Champion.

    Yuriorkis Gamboa ( P4P top 10 )

Richard Abril, interim WBA champ, should be regular champ by now.

    CASE CLOSED.

I didn't see the fight because I wasn't going to pay money for what I assumed were complete mismatches. Apparently I was wrong. Was it really that big of a robbery?

Abril is a spoiler, but he won. Fair and square. No debating. Nobody would take away a gladiator's victory because he gouges eyes and aims for the testicles. So, I give Abril his due even though his fighting style isn't exactly crowd pleasing.

Rios sucks. How could a supposed world class fighter not handle a guy like Abril? Mayweather would've ****in handed Abril his ass and laughed. I guess that's the difference between Miho and fighters like Mayweather and Pacquiao for that matter.

Hermano, don't you know that Castro banned all Cubans from participating in pro sports when he took control over Cuba? This is why the Cubans had no choice but to stay as amateurs for their entire careers and accumulating a huge amount of Gold medals.

Before Castro, Cuba had amazing professional Champions like Kid Chocolate, kid Gavilan, Mantequilla Napoles, Luis Rodriguez, Kid Paret, Sugar Ramos etc. All these are living legends and all time greats in the hall of fame.

Just now is when we are finally seeing the Cubans back in action in professional boxing. In the recent years, we have gotten a small glimpse of them with Casamayor, JC Gomez and Hurtado
( all World Champs ) but now is when they have the most numbers. :good
