Rios Vs Alvarado II March 30th Mandalay Bay

Alvorado is going to have to knock rios out because in the first fight he was boxing great but getting robbed on the cards. As a result i think alvorado strategy will be different, look forward to seeing how it goes down.

 

First of all i am shocked at how many guys on here dont like this rematch, great fight all around and good to see a rivalry brew

Alvarado landed nice over hand rights when he got space to throw them but was defeated because he spent too much time fighting Rios fight

Also Alvarado couldnt get out of the way of the left hook, if he blocks the hook and gets space for his right we may have a very different fight

 

Although the first was a classic, I have to wonder how much this is going to take out of both fighters.

It would have been better for Rios to move on to something bigger and better, and Alvarado to move on to something different. He could have used the rest and recuperate from that fight. Rios is risking a lot in this fight since Alvarado was shelling out his own punishment.

Having said that, will Rios underestimate Alvarado since he already beat him, and will Alvarado make the necessary adjustments to beat Rios. This is still a very possible 50-50 fight or 60-40 fight, in favor of Rios.

This, at minimum, two-fight series will take its toll on both of these guys.
