this is a stupid fight, meaningless and bull****, this is arum's way of trying to take rios to stardom the quick way, little does he know the mexicans are gonna be mad at rios rather than fans for beating their hero.
Anyone thinks Barrera has a chance is smoking crack and why feel sorry for Berrera he's the greedy just like the rest of these old fighters that just won't let it go may be after a couple of them get badly hurt maybe they will learn the hard way so anyways I hope Rios has no pitty on him and beats the hell out of him.
It's easy to talk **** about our fighters that don't know how to hang them up. But we need to understand we DO NOT know what they are feeling inside, whether it be greed, or passion fueling the fire that still burns (obviously we would hope it's passion in Barrera's case) to make them want to step in the ring. I'm not saying you should be happy about this fight, But all fighters fighters deserve your respect (in reference to what they give stepping in the ring), ecspecially Barrera, if you are a true fan of this sport. And I agree, Rios will not take it easy on Barrera, and it will more than likely get ugly, and sad on that night.
Let's be honest mate, Barrera looked fine up untill that horrible cut. He should never have been allowed to continue with that gash.
If Barrera wins this fight I'll donate £50 to a charity of your choice. I'd be more than happy to, I'd be completely made up!
Yea, no one really does, we can only hope no life threatening beatings happen. But there is always a chance of the shopworn vet pulling the upset. Just ask Michael Carbajal :deal
Barrera is one of my favrote boxers so I have mixed fellings about this. If it is true. If the fight happens I will root for him to become a four weight class world champion. A feat that has eluded the best of Mexico's boxers. This dose not mean I think it is a good idea for Barrera to fight Rios. It has been a long time since Barrera was at the top of his game. Were not talking about the Barrera of 2000-2003.
