The styles would make for a great fight! The fans would win, I agree.

IDK too much about this Broner kid, but even though I don't think he beat Deleon that night, he showed he has good skills, but he's in bad need of having them polished. He tried to fight like Floyd, but he doesn't have Floyd's reflexes, timing, defense, and most of all boxing I.Q. He was getting tagged repeatedly by the smaller, slower Deleon. The combing scene had me lmao he has charisma, but seriously he is lacking when to take the initiative in a fight. Floyd at least turns up the pressure and comes forward to lay some aggression on his opponents, then goes back in his cocoon, as if to say there's nothing you can do about it. With Broner, he's inconsistent and has long lapses where he doesn't do much. At this point, Rios would TKO him. I think Anthony Peterson is a better fighter, at least right now, and would be a great test for Broner if he went up to 135. Broner looks big for 130.

i agree, **** Boner! He got beaten by a smallerDaniel Ponce De Leon . The judges in boxing are quite often disgraceful ! No way di Broner win the fight with his posing and mugging. One judge sa it 98- 91 ! What the **** ?

Criminal judges are destroying boxing! Oscar should be ashamed of himself! The crowd booed, at least they were honest! Oscar thinks boxing fans are extremely stupid!

With the sick HBO/GBP relationship, Oscar can afford to be hated by serious boxing fans with financial impunity. The guy has fixed more fights than King.

All of ESB would be doing a joyous grito in unison before the night was through.

Where in the **** have you been? ESB is sorely in need of REAL BOXING FANS with the ability to give an insightful opinion about a fighter and/or fight without the usual "Casual fan" bull**** of: "HE'S A ***", "I HATE HIM", "HE SUCKS DONKEY BALLS" BLAH ****ING BLAH". The NUMBER RULE IN THIS SPORT IS STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!!! And if these ****ing idiots don't understand this....why in the **** are they in a Website Forum dedicated to the HARDCORE BOXING FAN.

It was SOOOOO obvious that Broner was just a young kid still learning the sport, and if that wasn't enough, he had to "learn on the job (or in the ring)" how to fight a southpaw. His usual "tricks" style, movement, jabs, combos are just not as effective versus a lefty. And he had a hard time trying to figure it out and this was so obvious to see. But according to all these HATERS....Broner shouldv'e had this ALL FIGURED OUT by his 20th Pro fight.:-(

In his next series of fights versus orthodox fighters (I doubt his team puts him in there with another southpaw for awhile) he'll look so much better....where you can see his speed, jab, movement, combos and defense. And if a fight with Rios happens...he'll look so much better than Acosta and Peterson. Broner (although I thought he lost versus PDL) still looked fast in the late rounds (although not as active because he was thinking too damn much, trying to figure out the southpaw). Acosta slowed and lacked steam on his punches. And Broner would look better than Peterson did versus Rios because Broner is the Better Boxer with Better Movement, Faster Jab and can Box for 12 Rounds. Peterson is a Natural "in the pocket" fighter...Which plays right into the Style of the Harder Punching Rios.

I still favor Rios to come-on late to win. But Broner will box and look great...Great Fight if it happens. Again Elchivito, Please Post more....ESB needs more Boxing Fan Insight.:good

C'mon, nothing that ever got on TV was worse than Dirrell's bicycle race with Curtis Stevens.

The constant booing and the blatant displeasure of the announcing team made the Dirrell fight slightly more entertaining...

No, you're probably right, Dirrell vs Stevens may have been the most boring fight ever, and probably the most frustrating since Stevens truly wanted to fight.

Broner would get KTFO within 6... Rios would have zero respect for his power and walk straight through him
