Gamboa will be left on the floor or running all night until his demise, wishing he was back in cuba feasting on cuban bums in the Amateurs.
And those Cuban " bums " like you say have dominated the amateurs for more than 45 years, and your fighters? :yep Oh, did I forget to mention that Casamayor, Hurtado, Juan Carlos Gomez, Yoan Hernandez and Rigondeaux were also Cuban " bums " and look at what they have accomplished in the pros. Your hate for Cuba is blind, plain ridiculous and without purpose. Get a life! :bart
Love the fight almost too much, I predicted Rios by KO/TKO. From what I have seen, people seem to underrate Rios' technical abilities. He has very good timing and accuracy with his punches, hence why he seems to get power in almost every punch. He also cuts the ring off well, and has finishing instinct that I don't see even in some of the very best fighters in the sport today. Some people seem to see him as a Juan Diaz/Antonio Margarito hybrid but Rios' pressure is more educated. Gamboa has fast hands and the poise and polished basics of a world class amateur, but his balance has seemed off in some of the fights I've seen him in. Also a lot depends on how Gamboa adjusts to the weight, this is intangible, but its less than 1 stone heavier than he usually is so I think it will suit him. I see Gamboa controlling the early rounds, making it a subdued fight. Going into the mid rounds he will still be outlanding Rios, though I can't see him hurting Rios as Acosta did. Rios will continue to pressure and will catch Gamboa clean, back him up and start to land more regularly going into the latter stages. I say Rios in Round 10.
