Rios vs Katsidis is most likely next -Bob Arum

I agree but part of me does want to see this as it'll be ****ing epic.

 

its a better fight than barrera but katsidis is on the slide and hasn't developed the defensive skill at the top level like rios has. going forward there isn't much between them although katsidis probably possesses the more one punch power but rios will definately land more and easily cut katsidis. rios definatly has the advantages going into the fight but for the first time in his career he will be under pressure to look good and impress which he hasn't had to do to date.

 

They should have this fight in the UK...:yep

They could bang out a decent venue with Katsidis and a decent domestic line up...:yep

 

Nah this is a good match up Katsidis has always got a chance but I see Rios putting him to sleep.

And besides we watch boxing to see people get a beating, that's just the nature of it, it's a vicious sport and we all know it and that's why we watch it, although of course we never want to see anyone getting seriously hurt, but any boxing match you watch there's always that chance.

 

I agree as a huge Kat fan he needs to at the very least take a rest

Wouldnt underestimate Katsidis, he could still do a number on Rios, possibly.

 

Katsidis struggles with boxers. If someone stands and trades with him....which Rios will he has a great shot.

 

Michael will enjoy success in this fight there's no doubting that. Antillon landed on Rios but never had the power to hurt or push Rios back. Michael's not a massive puncher but he's got spiteful technique on his punches which will do damage. He over turns his punches it's like a forced technique and maybe the reason why he doesn't get more success with his shots.

Gonna be a great fight either way if it comes off and tbh it's the fight Michael needs because he doesn't fare well against world class ''boxers'' he needs a guy who comes and complements his style.

Rios will be fav though he's fresher, big for LW and punches well.

Fight could be fought in a telephone box.

Kat isnt a top lightweight and doesnt deserve another shot.
