I completed an interview with WBA Lightweight champion, Brandon Rios this week about a potential fight with Aussie-Michael Katsidis a few weeks after his fight with Urbano Antillon.

You can read my question about Katsidis fight and see the full interview here:

Mitchell as in Katsidis's left overs?

One win after a years lay off and all of a sudden his fighting for a world title on a massive card :patsch

    Rios by murder :boxx

if its out of him or kats to be rios' opponent, mitchell has a better case than mick. Atleast he is coming off a very solid win....kats is coming off two losses, one a wide ud and the other a ko.

If it was kats who beat murray, it would be right beside mitchell as his best win.

I think rios is too much for both of them anyway. Q

If I was a promoter though...I would probably pick Mick.

Already has widespread U.S exposure, known for his fan friendly style and will very likely late a few more rounds. Plus seeing he is coming off those losses, you can low ball the shizzle out of him.

Katsidis has been in way too many wars to be able to match Rios now. It'll be a great fight, but it'll also be sad to watch him recieve punishment from a guy [Rios] I don't like.

135 is becoming a weak division fast. Rios is clearly the best that is left at the moment.
