I remember 2 years ago when 85% of the forum were saying Khan would **** up Rios. Oh how times have changed.:rofl:rofl
Khan destroys anyone at 140...as long as he boxes sensibly. Honestly that wash't a great boxing performance by Rios, it was a great demonstration of bravery and heart...but not of boxing. Just as you wouldnt point to Gatti Ward to teach youngsters but purely for entertainment
He beat Maidana easily up untill he got caught , peterson was one of the most scandalous bouts of recent years and should be declared a NC. Like I said if Khan boxes sensibly, gets in and out he can outbox anyone. It's only because he wants to stand and trade that he becomes unstuck.
rios style is very effective. its not just entertaining. comes forward constantly, great inside fighting, awkward punching angles, iron chin. thats trouble for khan
come on dude. you're forgetting that Peterson treated Khan like a rag doll, who isn't really an inside fighter and not much of a puncher. Rios is a nightmare for Khan.
Khan would need to stay on his bycicle for 12 rounds and never trade in order to win, it'd be awful to watch
I can see Khan winning a decison as long as he doesn't take too many rests, and doesn't get caught in a firefight. It's funny that Rios has probably leapfrogged Khan with only one fight in the division and is looking towards bigger fights, that KO loss really killed any momentum Khan had going for him.
