    Crazy to think otherwise

Maidana is a more legit opponent for Pac yet would still probaly get outclassed... Maidana also beats both Alvarado and Rios at 147.

Comeback fight is a stupid term. Really he was looking for Marquez or Bradley again which was the right move... Not bieng able to get them = Rios as a 'activity' fight?...

Arum just looking to make some $$

Pac's career is going down the drain... He looked pretty darn good against Marquez intill he got KO'd shame silly fights like this are bieng made

pacs coming off bad performances and a ko loss... rios is also coming off a loss but both fighters are fan fav exciting fighters... this fight also shows us what pac has left. no doubt in his prime hed eat rios and spit him out by 6 rounds ... and it would be a brutal beatdown leading up to that point.

rios gets a good payday and to proove he has what it takes to bang with the best. i think his chin is grotesquely good and im looking forward to seeing him suprise us all by taking huge shots..

no one is claiming this fight means anything such as who is the king of 147 or who anything like that..

its just a fan fav good old fashioned brawl

  3. I think it's a great fight possible blinder depending on what pacquiao has left and how rios goes at 147

I agree with everything except that Pac is coming off a bad performance. While he has noticeably slipped over the last couple years, I felt he was looking a bit improved overall in the last fight. Up until that KO punch he didn't see anyway.

Everything else though is dead on. If someone thinks this is a crap fight given the styles of these fighters, well I guess exciting action fights where there is a chance anything could happen aren't your thing.

This fight is a good scrap for those people who just want to see punches land in a toe-to-toe slugfest. That's cool if that's what you like.

But this fight shouldn't even be close to competitive, and we won't see much on the technical side either. This fight won't make it past 3 Rounds, in a lop-sided victory for Pac.

You are missing 2 important things. First, not everybody comes back well after the kind of K.O. Pac had. His chin may be ruined and we all know Pac can be hit. And second, we have never seen ANYONE K.O. much less hurt Rios that early in a fight. The guy has a first class chin. So I and many fans are interested in what happens in addition to yeah enjoying a toe-to-toe slugfest. Although I think Pac will box here more.
