No gyll don't get me wrong believe me when I say I will always root for the slugger. In this case Rios was the one who pressured the "slick black fighter" into shame. But making Rios an "A" fighter is out of the question. He's B+ at most. For one, he lacks the atheticism that one must possess to be at least in the A level. The Andre Berto's are the "A's"... the Pacquiao's, Barerra's, Cotto's an Marquez' (YES MARQUEZ) are the A+'s. :good
Both have no skills, limited fighters. They're both brawlkers. It's just a matter of time before he gets knocked out by a skilled fighter, or somebody stronger than him. Soto would in all likelihood dismantled him. First round or second round, it doesn't matter. Yes, you've just shown how you can be a dumb**** know nothingl swivel chair analyst.
Quit bitching... Yeah rios is not an A+ fighter but boy is he fun to watch! That mother ****er is the real IRONMAN! Now go in the kitchen and make me some pancakes woman.. :fire
Wow what a statement. atsch Ponce is a certified "A" fighter who could NOT KO a Penalosa because google who Gerry Penalosa is. Now Ponce got KO'd by Juanma Lopez because Juanma's got the goods (like Rafa) to be an A+ fighter. Rios is a "B" fighter, and a "B+" at most. :bbb But probably A+ in heart. :good
Rios outmanned him. Too much for him, great performance against a very good fighter for a young guy with lots of potential. He learned a lot from this fight and showed the things that cannot be taught like an iron will and the heart of a champion. Those alone mean more than all the skills in the world and Rios is actually quite skilled, he's great at cutting off the ring and his volume punching, body punching and tenacity will be a difficult task for any lightweight champ. It's a little too early to be rating him and A+, B+ whatever, when he fights an A opponent we'll be able to gauge him. SO far he's passed every test and proved he has the intangibles that can make him a great fighter.
Ponce de Leon is a B fighter, and a gatekeeper for champions, but can be a spoiler with his punching power. Only in a weak division or an ABC organization desperate would he be champion. So far, Rios is a small notch above Ponce....
Erm..............no. Just no. Soto couldn't deal with the pressure Urbano Antillon was putting on him during the mid to late rounds of their fight. He wilted, and allowed himself to be outworked, which nearly cost him the fight. Now if Soto can barely deal with Antillon, who got starched by Miguel Acosta, how would he deal with Rios who destroyed Acosta? It's simple logic. Rios would wear him down and break him. Only an idiot would think otherwise. Don't talk about fighters you know nothing about. No, you have. I have just educated you. Please read what I have said, take it in, and learn from it.
Nah, I'd say he is an "A" fighter where he had an unblemished record of far more (in number and quality) opponents before he got defeated by an A+ fighter. For one, I don't see Rios winning against a Gerry Penalosa. Ponce did.
Someone ban this ****ing troll PekPek Stop making everything into a Pacquiao Mayweather thread Neither you nor i know what Brandon Rios will go on to achieve so just respect this guys win and go back to the hole you crawled from
