Rios would put Marquez on his ASS in an inside fight.

Did nobody watch the fight before the Alvarado fight. I get it. Just trolling.

 

Marquez would test Rios' body. Rios can take head shots but can he take numerous body shots? I think Marquez is too smart for Rios.

 

Exactly. Everyone gets too hyped on just one fight. Marquez would be too smart for Rios. Abril showed how Rios can be beat.

 

I knew this was coming,and even though I was chuffed with Rios last night,I came away more confident of a Marquez victory than ever before.
Alavarado has about 0.05% of Marquez' ring savvy,and it showed.

 

And dftaylor is right,that was balls to the wall slugging last night.

Go and watch a Duran or Toney highlight reel if you think that was great inside fighting.

 

Just finished both fights from last night and it was fun but no f'n defense on either Rios or Alvarado's part. Decent but aint great inside fighting.

Chavez-Rosario, bit of Whitaker-Chavez, Duran-Leonard 1, Mccallum-Toney 1, Duran-Cuevas,etc have great inside work.

 

I have high respects with RIOS but a lot of things are easier said than done!
