Yeah because Golovkin has always shown a shaky chin :-( Even if Golovkin can't stop him, he will easily outbox Jr. But I think he does stop him my breaking down Chavez with body shot to his fat tummy. :deal
thats if golovkin can carry the power with him up to 168. have we ever seen ggg's chin tested? golovkin getting hit by a chavez jr haymaker or jr body shots at 168 that would be a good test for good boy :good
Ward would be the best test for Golovkin around. We won't really know how great a fighter Golovkin is until he is in with someone that is hard to hit, can take his punches, counterpunches, smothers to neutralize his offense, and has the right gameplan. That would be Ward. Canelo would also give Golovkin a fight. That said, I can't see anyone currently at middleweight presenting many of those kinds of difficulties right now. Sergio is at the end of his career, which was just about ended by the slow-footed but hard-hitting Chavez. Vulnerable on the inside, I'm sure he doesn't want to end his career by being in GGG's next highlight video. Quillen has good size, chin, speed and power, but his defense has holes and his experience is lacking. I think he'd be the toughest fight for GGG at middleweight, but I'd still pick him to be stopped.
Ward is one of the best fighters in the world today no question , Roy back in the day would get the best of him
Froch couldn't lay a glove on him though, GGG's fundamentals are better (not that Froch is a wild brawler, far from it, but GGG was a fantastic amateur with a tremendous boxing education. Of course, it is still a challenge to land cleanly on O'Ward, the last guy to KD him was Boone (?) a long time ago, tremendous, tremendous, technical match-up which will tell us A LOT about both fighters!
GGG aint beating Froch no way no how. Froch is to big and GGG wont have power at 168. GGG would be exposed the same way Bute was.
I went back and watch more of GGG's fights and so far his skin has not failed him. But GGG has toothpick legs and his defense is not good at all as he gets hit way to much. Ward would have no problem beating this guy.
