Flores was hospitalized following his NABF super bantamweight title fight in Dallas, against Al Seeger last Thursday. Seeger was awarded the TKO win in the eighth, and Flores was helped to his stool. Soon after, he was taken out on a stretcher, unconscious, to Parkland Hospital where he died five days later...Very sad news...
Oh, man... poor Flores. Texas needs to stop accepting phony medical reports signed by I.P. Freely with no official consequences and just disband. Even now, their primary goal is to gouge backyard wrestling clubs.
RIP Flores. I hate to hear that news about any fighter, and my regards go to his family and friends. I have to feel for Seeger, too. Here he is trying to get his career back after 3 straight losses (including a brutal KO by Gamboa), and it goes down like this. Just a terrible situation all around.
