Disagree. Alternative medicines/practices are coming to the forefront of battling it now more so than ever(with pathetically small funding compared), them big Pharma companies aren't there to cure you and they never will, people are seeing it for what it is, a business, population controller etc

Birmingham, cancers not really a conventional disease though, you cant cure it. You and I probably have cancer cells now but you just wont know it for decades to come.

Cancer is and always will be present. It is a naturally occurring pathogen/anomaly. Cells erratically and spastically reproduce when they are stressed. That is what cancer is. And, just like people, it comes in all shapes and sizes. Funny how people talk about alternative medicine UNTIL they have cancer and then they are all in, whatever it takes to kill the killer. My dad died of prostate cancer. My father-in-law, who was a doctor, died of prostate cancer. People dropping dead every day from various types of cancer. It is not a grand conspiracy, it is nature at work. You can't kill something that is amorphous. It is a moving target.

    RIP. Very sad.

A very likable guy and a fun, exciting warrior when he was walking the straight line.

I'll always remember his fight against the highly touted Willie DeWit from Canada. I think ABC had plans for DeWitt. That was Bert's coming out party.
Cooper destroyed Dewitt in devasting fashion. Some people started talkin about Cooper being a threat to Tyson for a minute anyway.

Truly sad news. Bert gave me some of my favorite boxing moments. (Mercer, Holyfield, Moorer). And, he was a genuinely nice guy when I met him.... A nice guy, with a murderous, sneaky right hand. Rest in Peace, Brother!

RIP. One of the more exciting fighters of his era. His back-and-forth battle with Moorer and the KD of Holyfield will assure him a notable place in boxing history.
