Sadly Chuck Bodak (Cutman) passed away last night, one of the coolest people you will ever meet in the sport, the man was just good people, I got to meet chuck while working at Alhambra Boxing Club through WBC Vice Chairman Rudy Tellez who owned the club. Chuck was attending a fund raiser for our gym and didnt hesitate to bring plenty of friends to help donate new equiptment to the club get some of our kids funds for their passbooks etc... The man made me a pair of cuff links I mean over all good people and he will be missed. God Bless you Chuck our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family This content is protected
I knew Chuck when I trained at VIP Boxing in Venice years ago. Chuck would come in around lunch time and often would clear the gym out after using the bathroom. We'd call him every name in the book (joking of course) and he'd laugh his ass off as we'd run holding our noses. He was a warm and friendly guy who was also known as a "soft touch" for a fighter down on his luck. RIP.
Funny **** cus Ne Ne (Dino) would do the same **** when he would walk in the gym, he would call him every name he could think of before he got to Rudys desk:yep
I still live out here, I used to work at Rudys Gym on Main st across the street from the market. Have you ever been? if so did you get a chance to meet Dino? (Ne Ne)?
What a shame. He was that guy you'd always see in a corner and you'd say, "Hey, it's him!" That was Chuck for me
Very sorry to hear this, very sad news, rip, Chuck. Also, godbless you and your family. Very well put Bazooka, nice touch.
